A stitch here and a stitch there

I am back quilting my pansy in the park by Thimbleberries

I have made 2 turns in a week

I am not sure you can see the stitches but they are there not sure why I am getting this yellowy lighting the top picture does a true color

Inch by Inch slowly I stitch so that I can get to another turn. I am hoping to have this done by the first snow fly

  1. Wish I had a place to leave a floor frame up full time! Congrats on your progress.

  2. Good for you! Just keep it up and you will get there. How nice to have room for that nice big frame.

  3. Deb, that will be a beautiful quilt. I'm tempted to try my hand at hand quilting again.

  4. Cute poem! It sounds like you're getting a lot done.

I sometimes get the yellow cast in my pictures, too. It's the white balance setting on some cameras. Auto doesn't always come out right.

  8. You're a hand quilter, too? It seems there aren't many of us left. Hand quilting is my favorite part of quilting. I use a lap hoop as I don't have room for a quilt frame ... and I can turn the hoop in any direction for ease in quilting.
